From a farm kid drawing in the dirt, to a college student back-packing across the Smoky Mountains, the ancient beauty of the southern Appalachian mountains of Tennessee has been in my spirit for the whole of my life.
Preserving the natural wild areas for future generations is not only important to me in my volunteer work, but is a constant theme visually in my paintings.
Now painting in a historical art studio filled with natural light, my education and life learned skills culminate into art work which satisfies my need to preserve, on canvas, the wonders of the area in which I’ve lived for 32 years.
My studio is located up the outside stairs on the second floor of the historic Cliff Dwellers’ building in the heart of the Great Smoky Arts and Crafts Community in Gatlinburg, TN. Visitors are most welcome.
