  1. We are so excited to see the eclipse with you. We are coming from Massachusetts.

    • Friends of the Cumberland Trail

Wonderful! We’re so excited to be having this event and will look forward to meeting you 🙂

  2. CAN’T WAIT TO MEET YOU ALL! IF YOUVE NEVER BEEN TO THE BEAUTIFUL SEQUATCHIE VALLEY, YOU’RE IN FOR A REAL TREAT!–DAN DAVIS

  3. Are all children under 12 are free or is it just one child under 12 free per adult ticket ? For example, if I have five children under 12 do all five get in for free or do only two and then we buy three more tickets?

    • Friends of the Cumberland Trail

Hi Casey! All children under 12 are free with a ticketed parent. We just need to make sure the kids are supervised. 🙂

  4. Looking forward to it! Just bought 2 tickets. Where exactly will the festivities be?

  5. I filled out the form just now requesting 4 tickets on the Wait list. And we can rent a car to all come in 1 vehicle if that helps!! I should have gotten them when I had the chance but was trying to coordinate two locations coming together. Jeff City is not in the path and Nashville is going to be so crowded. And so many state parks sold out early!
I already bought glasses because we had decided we would watch from our son’s parking lot in Ashland City if necessary!! So if having enough glasses becomes an issue, maybe that would help? Thanks so much.

    • Friends of the Cumberland Trail

Mary, you are first on the wait list, so if tickets become available they will be offered to you first! Fingers crossed (it’s looking good, just need the official word).

  6. I tried to buy tickets but when I pressed make payment it just took me back to the same page. If you a are full please add me to the wait list.

    • Friends of the Cumberland Trail

George, It didn’t proceed to the payment because we’re sold out and accepting registrations for the waiting list only. I’ve got you down with 2 tickets requested. If/when those become available, we’ll send you an email and you can pay via PayPal at that time.

      Thanks 🙂

  7. Geoff Jackson

Kia ora (greetings) from New Zealand.

We recently heard about Eclipse 2017 and as it turns out will be in Canada anyway showing off our new baby girl to her mother’s family.

After doing some research we decided that the Cumberland Trail’s Total Eclipse in the Park was the perfect venue to watch this spectacular event, and are totally pumped to be watching it with you and enjoying the culture and entertainment that Tennessee has to offer.

  8. Hi there,

I’m hoping I can find out how far down the waitlist we are—just trying to make some decisions about where to go for this exciting event!

    Many thanks,

    Allie

  9. Hi all!
I thankfully purchased my tickets early.
Wanted to know if there is an area that will be available for photo geeks to set up equipment to memorialize this event? Second, is the parking close to this same area or is there a distant to carry the equipment?

    • Friends of the Cumberland Trail

      Hi E G,
Yes! We will have an area cordoned off specifically for camera equipment and photographers. Peter Koczera will also be on-hand and we’re hoping you’ll have a nice little meet-up of like-minded photo geeks to enjoy the day with. 🙂

  10. I don’t see a link to a wait list. I have two adults and 3 under 12 I’d like to put on the list. Would you do that for me?

    • Friends of the Cumberland Trail

Tyler, If you fill out the form above, you’ll be able to purchase tickets. We’ve gotten through the waitlist and have a few more left. 🙂

  11. Mona Goldstein

I hope you will able to put aside 2 tickets for us for the solar eclipse. We’re driving down from New York and are super excited to be coming to Tennessee.
    Thank you so much!

    • Friends of the Cumberland Trail

Mona, we just confirmed in our database that you’re on the list & will look forward to meeting you! 🙂

  12. Simone Madsen

    Hi!

I’m not sure if payment was processed, but if not, I would love to be on the waiting list for 3 tickets!

We can all carpool to save space! Thanks so much!

    • Friends of the Cumberland Trail

Simone, we’ve got you paid up & confirmed. Thank you for carpooling! We really appreciate it. 🙂

  13. Just joined the wait list. When will we know if we’ll get in? If not, I need to make other plans. Thanks!

  14. I would like to get on the waiting list. My mom and I already purchased tickets . I just found out Hamilton County schools will be out that day. I have 2 children 12 and 14 that I d like to bring with me. So I just need one ticket for the 14 year old.

    • Friends of the Cumberland Trail

Lucy, if you fill out the registration form above, there’s a good chance tickets will be available, but they’re on a first-come basis, so go ahead and get registered asap!

  15. Bought tickets, haven’t received any confirmation or tickets. Should I be nervous?

  16. Just added my information to the waitlist and a message popped up saying “we received your order and tickets will be available at the entrance on August 21st…”. Does this mean I have one ticket reserved or that I am on the waitlist. Thank you!

    • Friends of the Cumberland Trail

Sierra, We’ve got you on the waiting list for two tickets and we’ll be sending out confirmations & payment info tomorrow morning.

  17. Please disregard my August 2 request. I had you mixed up with Cumberland Mountain State Park.

  18. Michelle Green

I think I am on the waiting list. How do tickets become available if you are already sold out? Are there any other venues nearby in case something does not open up here?

    • Friends of the Cumberland Trail

Michelle, I’ll be going through the list to see where we’re at later tonight. Cumberland Mountain State Park is having a HUGE viewing event at the Bear Trace golf course in Crossville.

  19. Just added my information for 2 tickets. I worked on the trail and got trail builder certification I believe in late May or June there at Head of Sequatchie. I am coming back in September for the machinery part of the trailbuilding certification. The two tickets are for me and my 87 year old dad. I did not know about this till I found it tonight. I hope you can work us in. Looking forward to the machinery part of the trailbuilding certification. Look forward to seeing everyone if we can be worked in.

  20. I just wanted to make sure I have a ticket. I have a Conformation number and my Paypal was charged. Is the receipt the ticket to get in?

    • Friends of the Cumberland Trail

Yes Rhonda! If you received a PayPal confirmation, you’re on our list. An email with more details will be sent out tonight or tomorrow morning. 🙂

  21. I just received an email invoice for $15.66 for 1. Is that 1 car or one person? There will be 1 adult and 2 teens. Just wanted to verify the email/Paypal link is from you and not a scam. Thanks!
