The Cumberland Trail Celebrates National Trails Day

The Cumberland Trail celebrated National Trails Day by hosting a reunion of trail builders on June 2nd, 2012 at Cove Lake State Park.   The all-day event brought together a host of volunteers, park staff and administration who have been involved in building The Cumberland Trail from its inception to the present day.  The day’s activities included a guided group hike to The Devil’s Racetrack, good food, live music, and collection of historic documents and reminiscences from trail builders throughout our history.
